CD-Rなどにデータを書き込むときのエラーの一種。
CD-R/RWドライブにデータを転送する速度が、書き込む速度に追いつかない（書き込む速度のほうが速い）ために書き込みが失敗してしまう。
このエラーを防ぐためには、書き込みを行うときに他のアプリケーションを終了したり、スクリーンセーバーを起動させないようにする、または、書き込み速度を下げるとよい。
